The Preflight Unit covers topics such as introductions, receiver orientations, preflight action, power-up, data entry & unit navigation, waypoints, flight plans for VFR & IFR with exercises and quizzes. The Enroute Unit covers navigation pages, direct-to, flight plan activation, messages, OBS mode, IFR departures & arrivals, nearest function, RAIM with other enroute functions and exercises. The Terminal Unit features approach setup, procedure turns, missed approach procedure, approach with hold DME Arc approach, vectors to final, approach problems, and terminal exercises. The Approach Unit covers the topics of GPS approach procedures, overlay approaches, communications, GPS TSOs, executing the approach, RNAV chart format and exercises.
