when you rent a jet, where do you take it? what is your favorite place to travel to on your private jet? do you like warm and sunny places with clear blue waters? when you rent a jet do you like cold wintery places that you can snow board or ski down a mountain? There is so many choices to choose from when you rent a jet.
but i don’t know how to fly a jet you say. this blog will give help on finding a flight school and it might even be accelerated learning.
I really have been wanting to go jet skiing, but i would rather rent a jet ski for a day. Does anyone know of any good places around the Portland/ Vancouver area where we could rent a couple jet skis? Or maybe a website we could go to to look at the pricing? In Oregon or Washington(state).
Lake Merlin (I think that’s what it’s called) is in Washington and I’ve rented waver runners there before. Long time ago, but still.
Lake Billy Chinook in Oregon rents jet skis and wave runners.
Google "Bend, Oregon + wave runner rentals" and see what you can find. There’re lots of lakes and outdoor fun to be had.
I live in San Diego california and the place i’m looking to rent one doesnt say how old you have to be (I know you have to be 18 to rent it, my mom would do that) but its one of those places where you rent the jet ski and take it somewhere to ride it.
I dont want to rent one for my and my friends if we cant drive it, so how old do you to be to do that?
sorry but it looks like you will have to wait until next year.
Calif law requires that a person is 16 years old (or older) to operate a boat with 15hp or greater including PWC’s and has passed the boaters license course.
the exception is that people 12 to 15 years old, can operate boats with 15hp or more and pwc’s if they are supervised by a person 18 years old (or older) on board.
for more info you can go to this web site

hope this helps
I’m from the south shore of Long Island and I’m looking to rent jet ski’s for a couple of hours. I was just wondering where would be the nicest place to go?

I want to buy a used jet ski and found one for a great price but it has 80 hours, is this too much, good, or amazing? Please also tell me what else would be important when looking for a jet ski and what amount of hours is acceptable. Thank You.
80 hours is moderate usage for a jetski. I have a 1997 GP1200 with 75 hours on it and it runs just fine. The important thing to consider is how hard were those 80 hours. You want to thoroughly inspect the ski. Check for signs of abuse on the hull, and prop. Look for rust and salt residue. check the compression. Your best bet is to take someone with you who knows jetskis and have them check it out. if possible, see if you can take it for a ride. When buying used the saying is "Caveat Emptor", let the buyer beware."
