Brendan “Hot Dog” Costanza is noted as having originally washed out of Colonel Flight School. Later, in an effort to replenish depleted ranks, Costanza is recruited as a Viper pilot trainee; lacking field experience, Costanza again washes out along with other new recruits, but is later reinstated as Viper Pilot trainee.
